Greetings and welcome to the April LSS eNews update


Spring is here at the LSS and there have been some changes to our line up! First, a big Thank You to DJ Chuck for his years of great music, memories, and fun. Chuck has moved on with his other employment, and we now wish to announce the arrival of DJ Jerry Szoka. Jerry has been in the Cleveland music scene for many years and now brings his talents to the Leather Stallion Saloon. Sunday April 13th is DJ Jerry's premier day with us. Jerry will spin the greats and new music from 6 PM until ??? for you. Join us and welcome Jerry to our family.

Brian is home and is planning his AMC party on Wednesday the 9th during Happy Hour. Join Brian, and music maestro Dick Conrad for a superb happy hour filled with great classic music, and munchies too!

Dave's Pot Luck Dinner is scheduled for Monday the 14th. Join the gang from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM for great food and fun times. Cook whatever you like and bring it to share. Happy hour runs till 8 PM so drop in and have a cocktail and a great dinner with us! Next month the Pot Luck dinner is set for May 5th. We'll be having a Cinco De Mayo party and everyone is asked to think, dress, and cook Mexican, or something close!!!

CLAW Weekend is approaching, and many have been asking what we are doing for the weekend party. Thursday night, the 24th is the pre CLAW Dick-Off party. DJ Jerry will be in the house spinning great music for you, Chef Leo will have free hot dogs from the grill, and we'll have 2 bars open and running for you. Friday night is the CLAW Country Night with great country music all night with DJ Jerry, special grill hours with Chef Leo, and Saturday night is the CLAW Uniform Party, again with DJ Jerry, and special grill hours with Chef Leo. The patio bar will be open, "weather permitting" for you to enjoy all weekend long.

Don't forget the Weekly Bloody Marry Party Tuesday nights 9 to close, the free Pool Tournament Wednesday nights at 10, the weekly Hanky Party Thursday nights after 9, and Dave's Pizza Party every Friday at 6.

Greetings, and welcome to the Mid-March LSS eNews


Well, March sure came in like a lion, and I am hoping it will go out like a lamb! We made it through the ice storm, then the snow storm. Yes we were open! RTA was running so I was able to go in and shovel the sidewalks and open, late, but we did open. The calendar shows spring will begin very soon, so keep looking on the bright side, another winter is done. Sure we may have some more snow, but we know the days are getting longer and summer will be here before you know it! That means the patio season will be coming soon, and the great LSS steak roasts, SuperSunday's, and all the fun!

Monday the 17th is the annual St. Pats Party, with Dave, Danny, Mike, and DJ Chuck. This is Chucks final night of regular service with us, and we wish him the best. Please drop in and say farewell to him from 6pm to 11pm. Hot corned beef sandwiches will be served from the middle bar with Danny while they last! Wear your green and party 'till you turn Irish this Monday!

Easter weekend Danny will be hosting his annual Easter Bonnet Contest on Saturday night at 10pm. Get creative and don your bonnet and party with Danny on the 22nd. Judging begins at 10:30pm and we need 5 contestants to hold the contest. A bonnet must be a creative hat, ball caps, cowboy hats, etc do not qualify. Put your thinking caps on, and create a visual that will last a lifetime!!! The LSS is open Easter Sunday from 3pm on. Join us today!

Don't forget the weekly pool tournament Wednesday nights at 10 with Michael, Rey, and the gang. Thursday nights Michael hosts the weekly hanky party night after 9pm, and Friday's with Dave at happy hour enjoy free pizza. Dave also does the Bloody Mary party every Tuesday night from 9 to closing with a tall well bloody for just $4.50 each.

Greetings, and welcome to the March LSS eNews


Well, springtime is approaching and I want to remind everyone to set their clocks ahead this Saturday night/Sunday morning. 2 AM becomes 3 AM. The LSS will be closing at 2 AM. Join Dave from opening 'till closing for all the great fun in Cleveland, no matter what the weather! Brian is home, and he is working the bar Friday and Sunday from 3 PM until 9 PM. Drop in and have a cocktail with him this weekend.

The March Pot Luck Dinner is coming next Monday the 10th. Join the gang and have a great meal at the bar with friends. Cook what you like and come on down for a great Happy Hour party. We open the doors at 3 PM with the food starting at 5:30 PM. See the flyers at the bar for all the details.

Saturday the 15th, join the Unicorns MC Club for their pre-St. Pat's party. The event begins at 10 PM, so come on down to party at the LSS.

Monday the 17th is the Annual LSS St. Patrick's Day Party. Dave opens the doors at 3 with Happy Hour 'till 6 PM. DJ Chuck is in to spin the best music 'till late in the night. Complimentary corned beef sandwiches will be served from 6 PM, and we'll be serving from 2 bars to ensure a good time by all! Join Dave, Danny, and Michael for the great party. Just a note here for all the news going around. Yes, DJ Chuck is leaving us. After 5 years of terrific service, the LSS St. Patrick's Day party will be his farewell. Stop in and send him off to new ventures as we will miss him. DJ Jerry Szoka will replace Chuck for the summertime, and we welcome Jerry to the LSS family.

Saturday night the 22nd is the night before Easter. Join Danny for his night shift and the fabulous Easter Bonnet contest! There are a few rules to follow for the night. 1, There must be 5 entrants to hold the contest; 2, bonnets must be just that, sorry but a cowboy hat, baseball hat, etc. do not qualify. Be creative and have fun! Thrift stores, dollar stores, or Pat Catan's are a great place for inspiration and cheap accessories for your entry! Judging will begin at 10:30 PM. Gift certificates will be awarded to the top 3 entries, and we'll have free hot dogs on the middle bar for you to enjoy!

Easter Sunday is the 23rd. Join Danny from 3 PM to 9 PM then party with Michael till closing.

Greetings, and welcome to the February mid month LSS eNews update


Well, we have had a party filled month so far, and we thank you for being with us. Thank you to CLAW and NAIL for their 2 big bar nights, we also held a festive Super Bowl party, Mardi Gras party, Chinese New Years party, Valentines Day party and of course the LSS 38th Anniversary party. The latest Pot Luck Dinner was well attended and we all ate very well, thank you to all who participated. Start thinking about the dinner coming in March!

Events still to come in the second half of this month include, Danny's Birthday Bash on the 20th at happy hour, it's a Motown theme with food by Howard. See the flyers posted at the bar. Saturday the 23rd, join the Bears of Arktos for their Bar Night at 10pm. Their theme is Bears, Beads, and Baubles. A small door donation is asked as you enter for the night and Arktos is donating it to their charities. SuperSunday the 24th is another great night of music with DJ Chuck. Chuck gets the music rolling at 6pm and spins all night long. Join us for all the fun and don't forget this is the night of the Dating Game! Please see bartender Michael if you would like to participate ASAP.

Wednesday nights at 10, enter our Free Pool Tournament hosted by Mike and Rey. Thursdays it's Michaels Hanky Party. Wear your colors and meet others all night long. Not sure what color to wear, or what a color means? Check out the hanky code chart at the main bar.

Looking ahead to March 2008... Time change occurs Sat. night into Sun morning March 9th. 2am becomes 3am, so we will close at 2am. The Pot Luck Dinner is Monday the 10th from 5:30 to 8:30pm. Greetings, and welcome to the February LSS eNews update


First off, I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who participated in the January Pot Luck dinner. We had a great party and great food! Start thinking of what you like to cook for the February dinner as it is approaching on the 11th! Dinner is 5:30 to 8:30pm and we welcome everyone to eat drink and be merry all evening with us. Did you know that I have a Bloody Mary Party every Tuesday night? Drop by and have one from 9pm to closing every Tuesday whether it's your first day back at work, or not! i can fix it the way you like it. Ask and ye shall receive!

This Friday, February 1st, there will be a special edition of Brian's AMC party at The LSS. The fun starts right at our 3pm opening, and goes until 9pm. We'll have great music, and our music maestro Dick Conrad will be on hand! Special treat, too! We will have a complimentary Lasagna dinner cooked by guest Chef, Angelo. Lots of snacks, too. then stay and party with me all night!

Saturday Feb 2nd is Ground Hog Day. The prognosticator has already predicted the evening party with CLAW at the LSS from 10pm on. Come in early, and stay late! Party with us at the LSS and help raise funds for the CLAW charities. SuperSunday the 3rd is Dave's Super Bowl Party. Catch the big game on our monitors, and enjoy hot dogs with Dave's homemade chili on top! It doesn't matter if you like Green Bay or New England, have some fun with us at the Stallion!

Mardi Gras comes early this year. Tuesday the 5th is the popular LSS Mardi Gras party with DJ Chuck, Dave, Danny, and Ryan at the bar. Dave opens at 3pm with the music of DJ Chuck starting at 6pm. Great food and fun all night long with 2 bars open to serve you! Dave is cooking 3 favorites for you to snack on - Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice, and Dirty Rice.

Thursday the 7th is Michael's Chinese New Year Party. Welcome the year of the Rat at the Stallion by dropping in and getting some tail with us! Michael has free munchies planned for the night with the party starting at 9pm and going till closing!

Saturday the 9th is NAIL's "Love Hurts" Club Bar Night. Join the gang from 10pm on and party with us all night long. 2 bars will be open to serve you best. SuperSunday the 10, is the LSS Anniversary party. Join us and celebrate our 38th year with DJ Chuck, Dave, Danny, and Michael. Chef Leo will be on hand serving great sandwiches, and hot hors d'oeuvres, plus the popular LSS shrimp cocktail. Join us, the party starts at 6pm! Monday the 11th is the next Pot Luck Dinner. Cook and bring what you like and have a great time with us!

Thursday the 14th is Michael's Valentine's Day Party. Join Michael from 9pm to closing for lots of food and fun at the Stallion. Bring your sweetie, or meet him here! Don't forget, every Wednesday night is the Free Pool Tournament at the LSS. The game starts at 10 with free hot dogs. Every Thursday night, is the Hanky Night. Wear your colors loud and proud, and meet the man for you at the LSS.

Greetings, and welcome to the mid month update!


I hope everyone had a great holiday season, welcome to the new year. We hope you can join us for these upcoming events...

SuperSunday with DJ Chuck is approaching on January 20th. Chuck spins the best music and takes your requests from 6pm on. Our great DJ plays a little bit of everything, so come on down and party with us!

Michael and Rey invite all pool players to the weekly Wednesday night FREE Pool Tournament. The game gets rolling at 10pm so don't be late! Hungry? There are hot dogs in the LSS crock pot on the middle bar for you during the tournament. Thursday nights the colors are flying everywhere with Michaels Hanky Party. Not sure about the correct color to wear for you? Check out the hanky code charts in the main bar, and wear your colors loud and proud! Party with Michael Thursdays at 10pm.

Early in January we partied with the Rangers Club. Happy 19th Anniversary to the gang! If you missed the party, wait till you see the line up for February! Saturday Feb 2nd is Ground Hog Day Party sponsored by CLAW. The festive bash gets rolling at 10pm, so don't be late! Feb 3rd, is Super Bowl Sunday with Dave. Dave has some fabulous eats in store for everyone while they last! Come early, stay late, and party with us! Thursday the 7th is Chinese New Year. Party with Michael from 9pm on, with special munchies too! Saturday the 9th, join NAIL for their blowout party at the LSS from 10pm on. SuperSunday the 10th is the LSS 38th Anniversary Party. Party from 6pm on with Dave, Michael, Chef Leo, Danny, Wil, Ryan, and of course, DJ Chuck from 6pm on through the night. The 11th is the pot luck dinner, and on the 14th, it is Valentine's Day. Michael has a special party lined up with the "You've Got Mail" game! More on all those events later. Mark your calendars now and plan on being with us for the best in fun and friends in Cleveland!

Just something for you to start thinking about. Late in February, Michael will be hosting the Dating Game on SuperSunday the 24th with music and memories by DJ Chuck. Greetings and welcome to 2008!


Looking for something to start your new year off the right way? Drop in at the LSS today from 3 until 9 PM for Danny's Bloody Mary recovery party. Stay and play all night with Dave till closing! Enjoy the good times with your friends at the Stallion everyday and night!

Join Brian on Thursday the third for his next AMC party with music master Dick Conrad, munchies, and fun all happy hour long. The last one was a real blast with a nice crowd of folks partying the night away to the great music of days gone by. Round up the gang and come on in for a great time at the LSS.

Saturday the 5th is the Rangers' Anniversary Bar Night. Join the leatherfolk for their festivities and good times starting at 10 PM.

The January Pot Luck Dinner is approaching, so start planning your crock pot meals now and bring them in and share with everyone. There is no theme to this dinner, just cook what you like and party with us! For those who cannot cook, we're happy just to have you with us. You may bring anything you like to share with the group, hot or cold. Store bought items are also welcomed. Dinner starts at 5:30 PM and goes till 8:30 PM.

SuperSundays in January are set with house DJ Chuck spinning the best music around for you on the 6th and the 20th. Chuck gets the party going at 6 PM and plays till 11 PM. We also have free hot dogs to eat as well, so party with us all night long.

Like to play pool? Join the weekly free pool tournament every Wednesday night at 10 with Michael, Rey, Harry, and the gang. Always a fun night, so drop in and have some fun every week.

Mark Howard is inviting everyone to celebrate Kevin's birthday on Friday the 18th. The party at the bar runs from 5 PM to 8 PM with Mark providing the food. The happy hour party will be a lot of fun, join us!

For those who have visited our website since November 23rd and found no images in our photo gallery, Donn, our webmaster, tells me that the photo gallery, which allowed for people to register and upload their own photos, was destroyed by someone's uploaded image editing program. Over 900 photos dating back to 2001 were lost. But, have no fear, he has replaced it with a new gallery and slide show, preserving the history of the bar from backup, and all is up and working now.

Wintertime is here on the North Coast. Just a reminder that occasionally the weather may cause us to cancel an event. Please call ahead on bad weather days to see if an event is still going on, but remember the bartender may be outside shoveling snow, so please be patient. 2008 is a leap year, so we are open this year 366 days! As long as RTA runs, I'll have the bar open for you!

As 2007 closes, we've had many happy memories, said farewell to many friends, and look ahead to the new year. Thank You for making the Leather Stallion Saloon your "Home Bar". We try to be your home away from home and provide you with a place to enjoy food, fun and fellowship in warmth and safety. Thank You again.

Sunday the 16th is the 37th Annual LSS Sounds Of The Season Holiday Party. This year, Mr. Randy Austin is our MC, featuring Tom Brooks, loads of holiday music and cheer. Also this year, enjoy the live music of the "Blazing River Band" on our stage. DJ Chuck, Dave, Danny, Mike, and the gang will be on hand serving you all night long. Chef Leo will be serving the shrimp cocktail and plenty of other mouth watering appetizers and sandwiches. The party starts at 6 and goes till you do! Showtime is 8pm.

Saturday, the 22nd is Dave's 48th Birthday Party. The party gets rolling at 6pm with DJ Chuck, and MC'd by "House Diva", Donatella Nobody, with a special appearance by Amanda Reckonwith. We hear there is a night of laughter, food, fun and a roast at 8pm! Join in all the festivities all night long at the LSS.

Monday the 24th is Christmas Eve. Join Dave all night long for a special Christmas Eve party with holiday music and movies. The bar is open till 2:30am! Christmas Day, we open at 7pm, drop in and have an "after the family day" cocktail with Dave.

The New Year's Eve Party this year is Monday night. Come on down and celebrate the new year with us! Thanksgiving is upon us, and here's the plan for the busy weekend. Wednesday eve is the big party with DJ Chuck, and guest dancer Sebastian. Danny gets your Happy Hour rolling after work, and Dave and Michael keep the party going all night. The free Pool Tournament goes on at 10pm, and the bar is having free hot dogs too! Drop in and make new friends and see others you haven't seen - we'll party all night long. Thanksgiving night join Dave all night long for a cocktail after dinner. As many have already heard, Dec. 22nd is Dave's 48th Birthday. Mark your calendars now and plan to attend this special Saturday party. In case you missed Gary's farewell party, we all had a blast! Gary is moving to sunny southern California soon, and Michael is replacing him on Thursday nights. Michael will be starting his "Find Your Fetish" hanky code party nights on select Thursdays from 10pm on. The popcorn machine expired last spring. We now offer hot and fresh microwave popcorn for you inside the main bar, see your bartender for a bag!

Fall Back! Time change occurs Saturday night, November 4th. Sunday morning 2am becomes 1am. Party with Dave all night long at the LSS! Set your clocks back one hour before you leave home, and change the batteries in your smoke detectors too.

The LSS is NOT up for sale, has NOT been sold, nor are we going out of business. I wish I knew where and why these false rumors start, but we're here for you and plan on staying!
